The site is situated north-east of the Wanborough Road with recently approved development along the southern and northern boundary which will be commencing construction within the next two years.
The site forms part of the wider area identified as a residential led phase(s) of development of the overall Swindon New Villages development which overtime will deliver 8000 dwellings, 40 Ha of employment land, Primary and Secondary school provision, District and Local Centres comprising retail, leisure, community and health facilities.
Terra has submitted a hybrid planning application for a total of 248 new homes across a 19.7 Ha (49-acre) land parcel to the east of Swindon, which forms part of the New Eastern Villages (NEV) allocation.
