The land is located within the proposed new settlement of Worcester Parkway which will deliver circa 10,000 new dwellings. The Vision for the development of Worcestershire Parkway is for the new settlement to be landscape-led and formed on ‘garden settlement’ principles. The development of the new settlement is to be predicated upon a ‘20-minute’ neighbourhood principle – this relating to the accessibility of the new town centre and its facilities for all residents.
The land forms part of Phase 1 of the new settlement which will see circa 5,000 dwellings delivered up to 2040.
